Bush & wildlife

Your safari starts before the first game drive

Pack thoughtfully, understand park access and let wildlife set the pace.

Slow down and give wildlife the space it needs.

A safari is about time in nature, not a checklist of sightings. Whether you choose Kruger, Pilanesberg or another reserve, understand the entry arrangements and the type of wildlife experience your quotation includes.

Know what you are booking

Ask whether the game drive is guided or self drive, how long it lasts and whether conservation fees are included. Kruger fees vary by visitor category and travel dates. Gate times, day visitor availability and activity age limits must be checked for your visit.

Pack for changing conditions

Bring comfortable layers, sun protection, water and binoculars if you have them. Early starts and open vehicles can feel different from the afternoon at your lodge. Discuss personal health needs with a qualified professional before travel.

Give wildlife space

Follow your guide and park instructions. Remain in your vehicle except at designated places where exit is permitted. Never feed wildlife or encourage an animal to approach. Quiet observation and patience are part of the experience.
