Build a holiday budget you can actually use
Look beyond the headline price and compare what each quotation includes.
An estimated budget helps your travel planner make useful choices. It works best when you explain what that amount needs to cover and which experiences matter most to you.
Define the budget clearly
Specify whether your amount is for the whole party or per traveller, and whether flights are included. Leave room for meals not included, personal purchases and optional activities. A deposit reduces the amount paid upfront; it does not reduce the total trip price.
Compare like with like
Check nights, room sharing, transport, meals, entry fees and optional extras. Ask about VAT and other charges in the written quote. A lower price may involve a different stay or fewer inclusions, so decide based on the complete experience.
Read the payment schedule
Confirm the deposit, instalment dates, final balance deadline and cancellation terms. GoLynx’s current published escapes use a 30% deposit after confirmation, with the balance settled before departure. Custom quotations may have different supplier conditions; review the terms for your actual booking.
